CBSE's surprise inspections in 10 schools aim to ensure compliance with norms. Check the list of inspected schools and what this means for students and parents.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has taken a proactive step to uphold educational standards by conducting surprise inspections in 10 schools across five states and one union territory. The inspections, carried out on 13th August 2025, were designed to ensure schools comply with CBSE norms and maintain proper academic and infrastructural standards.
The primary goal of these surprise checks was to verify whether schools are:
Adhering to CBSE Bye-Laws.
Maintaining proper academic and physical infrastructure.
Avoiding the enrollment of non-attending students.
To ensure authenticity, the inspections were conducted simultaneously by 10 teams, each comprising a CBSE officer and a principal from an affiliated school. This synchronized approach preserved the element of surprise, providing an accurate snapshot of school operations.
The CBSE inspection teams visited 10 schools across multiple states and union territories. In Assam, the inspected schools included International School in Guwahati (located opposite Radiant Motors, Kali Mandir Path, Nalapara Road, Sarusajai) and Spring Dale International School (By Lane 3, Sonkuchi Path, Beharbari Charali, NH 37). In Delhi, Rajindra Public School in Nihal Vihar, Nangloi was part of the surprise checks.
Moving to Karnataka, the team inspected Shri Ram Global School in Whitefield (Sy No. 7 & 8, Samethanahalli Naganayakanakote). Two schools from Madhya Pradesh were reviewed: Sanskar Public School in Village & Post Naugaon and Kiddy’s Corner HR Sec School on Shivpuri Road, Gwalior.
In Maharashtra, three schools underwent inspections—Aditya English Medium School in Baner, Pune (Sr. No. 70, Dhankude Nagar); Delhi World Public School in Nerul (Plot No. 7A/78, Sector-12, Opp Poonam Tower); and Crimson Anisha Global School in Pune (S.No. 13/1/1, Kadnagar Undri). Lastly, in Odisha, the team visited Jupiter Public School in Gangapada, Khurda (Pin Code: 752054).
CBSE will review the inspection reports and take necessary action against any violations. The board remains committed to enforcing strict measures to maintain educational quality and transparency.
For students, parents, and educators, these inspections reinforce CBSE’s dedication to ensuring schools provide a conducive learning environment. Stay tuned for further updates as the board releases its findings.
