The 24x7 MANAS platform has been integrated with Anti-Narcotics Task Forces (ANTFs) across States and Union Territories, ensuring swift action and stronger outreach.
Students, parents, teachers, and community members can use the helpline to:
Share information related to drug trafficking.
Seek guidance for rehabilitation or counseling.
Access awareness resources such as posters, videos, and brochures, available at ncbmanas.gov.in/awareness.
Importantly, the identity of informers is kept strictly confidential, encouraging individuals to come forward without fearNational_Narcotics_Helpline_MAN….
CBSE has asked all affiliated institutions to ensure maximum visibility of the helpline through:
Banners and posters displayed at school entrances, receptions, and notice boards.
Awareness sessions during morning assemblies, parent-teacher meetings, and school outreach events.
Community sensitization, motivating students, teachers, and parents to support the cause.
Schools must also maintain a compliance report on banner and poster displays for reference when required by the BoardNational_Narcotics_Helpline_MAN….
By actively publicizing MANAS-1933, CBSE schools are expected to play a crucial role in spreading awareness and protecting students from the dangers of substance abuse. This initiative goes beyond compliance—its purpose is to strengthen preventive education, encourage open conversations, and create supportive spaces where students can seek help without stigma.
The Board has urged schools to extend full cooperation and inspire students to contribute to building a healthier, drug-free environment
