The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a final, strict deadline extension for the submission of the List of Candidates (LOC) for students appearing in the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Examinations 2026. The board had initially closed the portal on September 30, 2025, but has since reopened it to allow schools that missed the initial date to submit their LOCs along with a late fee

The LOC submission portal re-opened on October 3, 2025. This extension is the last chance for schools, and the board has made it clear that
no submissions will be accepted after these final deadlines.
Payment through Challan: The deadline for submissions with fees paid via Challan is October 8, 2025, at 11:59 p.m..
Other Payment Modes: The deadline for all other modes of payment, including Internet Banking, UPI, Debit/Credit Card, NEFT, RTGS, and international payment methods, is October 11, 2025, at 11:59 p.m..
The CBSE previously allowed fee payment without a late charge until September 22, 2025 (for Challan) and September 30, 2025 (for other modes).
The CBSE has issued a stern warning that schools failing to submit their LOCs by the final, strict deadlines will be held fully responsible for the non-compliance.
The critical consequence for non-submission is that the candidates from those schools will face
ineligibility to appear for the CBSE Board Examinations 2026. School principals and heads are therefore urged to ensure immediate and accurate completion of the LOC process to safeguard their students' ability to sit for the exams.
