The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the 3rd National Summit on ‘Facilitating School to Work Transition’, scheduled for August 23, 2025 (Saturday). The summit will be held at the B. S. A. Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and will also be live-streamed on the official CBSE Skill Unit YouTube channel .
This annual initiative aims to highlight the importance of skill development, industry readiness, and career pathways for CBSE students across India.
The inaugural session will be presided over by Sh. Sanjay Kumar, Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education. The summit will feature keynote talks and discussions with eminent personalities from higher education and leading industries, covering fields such as:
Aerospace
Automotive
Finance
Hospitality
Fashion
Media (Dance, Animation, Sound)
Information Technology
Alongside the talks, the summit will host a student exhibition, showcasing innovative projects and creative work from schools across the country. Additionally, interactive sessions for students and teachers have been arranged to provide practical insights into career readiness and skill development. This platform is designed to help schools, students, and educators bridge the gap between classroom learning and workplace expectations.
