The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a major step to safeguard the health and well-being of students by entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Ministry of Home Affairs. The agreement, titled “Cooperation in Awareness Program against Drug Abuse at CBSE-affiliated Schools,” will formally be signed on 3rd September 2025 at the CBSE Headquarters in Dwarka, New Delhi.

This partnership reflects the growing urgency to address substance abuse, which has emerged as a serious challenge affecting the future prospects of many young learners.

• Date & Time: Wednesday, 3rd September 2025 | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Reporting Time: 9:30 AM)

• Venue: CBSE Integrated Office Complex, Sector-23, Phase-1, Dwarka, New Delhi – 110077

• Registration: Google Form link (first-come, first-served basis)

• Fee: No registration fee (travel and accommodation to be borne by participants)

Principals and counselors from CBSE-affiliated schools are invited to register and take part in this significant initiative. Confirmations will be shared via email with selected participants.
