CBSE will hold offline parenting workshops in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Siliguri, Ludhiana & Indore this September to promote student well-being.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a series of offline parenting workshops to be held from 4 September to 18 September 2025. These sessions are part of the broader Parenting Calendar 2025–26, an initiative launched earlier this year to strengthen the role of parents as active partners in the educational journey of their children.
Following orientation programs conducted in May and June 2025, these offline workshops are designed to provide parents, principals, and wellness teachers with practical strategies to support children’s academic, social, and emotional growth.
According to CBSE, the workshops aim to:
• Ensure effective implementation of the Parenting Calendar 2025–26
• Equip parents with actionable tools to address academic, social, and emotional needs
• Promote positive parenting practices and digital well-being
• Encourage resilience-building in students
• Provide an interactive platform for collaboration between schools and families
The workshops will be hosted at selected CBSE-affiliated schools across five cities. Each session will run from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with limited seats available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• 4 September 2025 (Thursday) – Delhi Public School, Nadergul, Hyderabad
• 9 September 2025 (Tuesday) – Delhi Public School, Bopal Square, Ahmedabad
• 9 September 2025 (Tuesday) – Birla Divya Jyoti School, Siliguri
• 15 September 2025 (Monday) – BCM School, Ludhiana
• 18 September 2025 (Thursday) – Daly College, Indore
Participants must register online through the official Google Forms links provided by CBSE. Confirmation emails will be sent to selected candidates, who are expected to report by 9:30 AM on the day of the event. Travel and accommodation costs will need to be covered by participants themselves.
The workshops are specifically targeted at:
• Principals and heads of schools affiliated with CBSE
• Counselors and wellness teachers working to enhance psychosocial well-being in schools
• Parents seeking structured guidance on positive parenting and digital safety
By bridging the gap between home and school, CBSE hopes to nurture a stronger foundation for student well-being and holistic development.
Interested participants can register via the official CBSE links for each city:
• Hyderabad – 4 Sept
• Ahmedabad – 9 Sept
• Siliguri – 9 Sept
• Ludhiana – 15 Sept
• Indore – 18 Sept
For queries, schools and participants can reach CBSE at cbse.counseling@gmail.com.
In today’s fast-changing academic environment, students face increasing academic pressure, digital distractions, and social-emotional challenges. These workshops provide schools and families with structured guidance to support children’s overall growth. By involving parents and educators together, CBSE is reinforcing the idea that education is a shared responsibility.
