Eligible female students who passed Class 10 in 2025 and are currently in Class 11 can apply. The deadline to submit applications is October 23, 2025. The scheme is also accepting renewal applications from students who received the scholarship in 2024.
CBSE has issued a public notice inviting online applications for the scholarship. The last date to submit the application is October 23, 2025.
The scholarship is open to female students who meet specific criteria:
New Applicants (2025 Scheme): This is for Single Girl Child students who passed their Class 10 examination in 2025 from a CBSE-affiliated school. They must currently be studying in Class 11 at another CBSE-affiliated school.
Renewal Applicants (2024 Scheme): This is for students who were awarded the Single Girl Child Scholarship in 2024 and need to renew it for the current academic year.
The detailed guidelines, eligibility conditions, and the online application form are available on the official CBSE website,
www.cbse.gov.in, under the "Scholarship Link" section. Students and parents are advised to carefully read all the guidelines before applying.
The Single Girl Child Scholarship is part of CBSE's broader efforts to support and empower young women through education. By providing financial assistance, the board helps ensure that deserving students can continue their studies without financial barriers. It’s a significant step toward encouraging families to prioritize their daughter’s education.
This is a great chance for eligible students to receive financial aid for their studies. Make sure to apply online before the deadline of October 23, 2025.
