Starting from January 2026, CBSE will conduct a series of Capacity Building Programmes (CBPs) to facilitate the mandatory implementation of Skill Education in classes VI-VIII. This initiative is crucial for equipping teachers with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively integrate skill education into their teaching methodologies.
These Capacity Building Programmes are designed to provide teachers with comprehensive training on the implementation of Skill Education using the Kaushal Bodh activity books developed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). The CBPs will be held in face-to-face mode across multiple locations, ensuring that educators from various regions can participate and benefit from this initiative.
Duration: One day (9:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
Cost: Free of charge
Eligibility: Directors, Principals, Vice-Principals, Coordinators, and Teachers of CBSE affiliated schools
Logistics: Participants must confirm their attendance with the venue school for proper arrangements
Materials: Participants are encouraged to bring along NCERT Kaushal Bodh textbooks for effective discussions
